Guru Seva (service to guru) means, not just performing Pujas, Bhajans,
serving food and then making comments as you wish. Real Guru Seva means
considering this idol of Dattatreya as manifesting the energy of my
Sadguru, feeling the energy of Sadguru is that form, and contemplating
on the preaching of Sadguru, and putting them into practice in our daily
lives in every act that we do, participating whole heartedly in all the
activities of the Ashrama involving ourselves, and work to uplift the
Kshetram (sacred place consecrated by Sadguru).
