Jaya Guru Datta is the common greeting that we use when we meet each
other. Many new comers are worried and not sure what it means. It is a
wonderful greeting which has a deep inner meaning. ‘Jaya’ means
Victory, ‘Guru’ represents knowledge; ‘Datta’ means a gift,
sacrifice, self surrender.
