Don’t take the problems to your mind. If you put the problems on to your mind they will burn you up. Instead put the problems on the Atman. The Atman in turn will burn your problems. Atman is capable of handling any problem where as the mind and sense organs are not. You are often contemplating on the problems. Such contemplation attaches us to the senses, sensory organs and the mind. This enables the problems to gain access to the mind. Once they gain access to the mind they gradually eat away your mind. This causes pain and suffering. This is not the solution to the problem also. Instead if you address the problems to the Atman, the problems by themselves will be burnt away, as they cannot gain access to the Atman. In other words detaching oneself from the pains and pleasures of the senses and sensory organs and contemplating on the true self is Atma Jnana. This should be the aim and goal of everyone. This is also the solution to every problem. The question is “How to address our problems to the Atman?” For this we have to know about the Atman. One must spend at least some time everyday trying to know the true nature of self (Atma Tatva). Sadguru guides the disciple in this path of Atma Jnana through a number of methods suited to our mental makeup.
