The existence of God can only be realized by persistent efforts,
personal experience, and intuitive feeling.
Logical arguments and eloquent speeches do not help to feel the presence
of God.
The Guru, like the God, is the embodiment of kindness. Just as the
mother attends the spoiled child, the Guru ministers to the needs of the
His devotee.
In spite of his achievements, man is unhappy. Everything would be fine
for him, if only he learns humility by accepting the fact that what he
thinks he has achieved, was made possible for him by God. His
achievements are really God's making.
Krishna’s goal is to bestow Paripoornatva, wholeness to each of us. He
gives the assurance of His help. But He does not chant a mantra, He
does not perform a homa. He makes us do it.
With God’s grace, the mute person speaks. Poison turns into nectar.
Fire turns cool. This has been the experience of many great souls.
With every bite that you eat, chant Govinda or Vithala. Thank the Lord
for the food given to you. Be grateful that you have been found worthy
to be given food, that you are able to eat, whatever it is that you may
be eating, be it rice, or dosa or whatever.
When a devotee takes one stride towards the Lord, He takes ten strides
towards the devotee. Such is the grace experienced by Sri Ramakrishna
Paramahamsa.
The Lord knows what you want and is pleased only with your sincere
devotion.
Control over sense organs is very much needed for the realization of
God. Singing the names of the Lord devoutly
and fervently enables such control.
Devotion towards one's Guru, and the chanting of the holy names of God
with pure heart, enables one to obtain bliss from one's Guru.
Ganapathi is the remover of every trouble. He prevents the doing of evil
deeds, removes all obstacles and promotes good deeds. Since He can
either
remove or cause obstacles, He is called as Vighneswara.
Man's life in this material world may be likened to a dream. But it is
not an aimless dream; life provides opportunities to enrich his career.
It serves as a training ground and teaches hard lessons on life
effectively.
Desires delude the mind and despondency drives it more. Therefore give
up both of them. He who has discarded both of these can alone acquire
Vairagya.
Yoga means not merely doing exercise but it is a Sadhana. This Sadhana
can be perfected through Dhyana Yoga, by following the means of
pranayama,
concentration, nadi suddhi.
